70 x 70cm Mixed media using gold and silver leaf on box canvas Soft, pale blues, sea greens and browns flow together to form this striking yet gentle abstract. The textures bring an additional depth and sense of solidity. This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the piece, making this highly contemporary painting seem even larger than it is.
