From the series Gone fishin’ with Wilf’ Remembering fishing with my father Wilf’ as a child and the changes in the coastal landscape, a metaphor for the passage of time, weather for mood, landscape for feeling, whilst exploring the fine line between pure abstraction and figurative recognition, between chance and control during the painting process. Painting is strung ready to hang.
