Double cut electric guitar
This is an instrument produced in the USA with undeniable care, and bursting with quality. An extremely vibrant and lively solidbody electric guitar, warm and precise, very pleasant to play.
Introduced in 1988, the PRS Classic Electric is distinguished from the Custom 24 by its Fender-style screwed maple neck, with PRS’s characteristic 25″ scale. Its mahogany body and PRS 85/15 double-coil pickups are borrowed from the Gibson© concept.
The latter offer remarkable clarity and an extended frequency range, both in the low and high frequencies.
A push/pull tone control doubles the number of pickup combinations.
The PRS CE 24’s hybrid lutherie makes it extremely flexible. The mahogany body generates warmth and density, with dynamic bass and a strong midrange.
The screwed maple neck and maple top add clarity and definition, with an emphasis on high frequencies. The rosewood fingerboard adds roundness and bite.
As you can see, the PRS CE 24 is exemplary if you’re looking for a guitar that’s versatile, pleasant to play and impeccable in terms of workmanship and finish.
From airy clean tones to saturations potentially suited to muscular registers (Hard-Rock, Metal), it will suit studio musicians, for example, who need to be able to adapt to any request and count on an absolutely reliable instrument.
