Unfinished Symphony, Part VI

With the fresh green (different shades from apple green, lime green to a dark olive green) and dark red in combination with white (or rather off white) all paintings of the « Unfinished Symphony » Series are really fresh and vibrant, they are like a taste of spring. I finished them a year ago, but now I’m happy to match the new pantone « colour of the year » 2017, greenery! « Unfinished Symphony » started as a project with my personal working title « 30x30x30 ». The Idea was – and is! – to create 30 Artworks each 30 x 30 cm, started as one large painting, but then complete each one as a work for itself, and then see them spread around the world. An artwork on its own and also coexist as part of something bigger. Only 24 of the 30 Artworks get ready – so now they have the title « Unfinished Symphony ». Due to the square format they are also great in hanging some of them together – horizontal, vertical or in each other arrangement you want. One of the photographs shows all artworks together including « only numbers » for the ghost parts… The sides are painted black. Finished with a silk glossy varnish. Signed and numbered as part of « 30x30x30 » on the back. Ready to hang with a professional hanger on the back. Painting size is 30 x 30 x 3 cm | 11,81 x 11,81 x 1,2 in I love the idea of artworks belonging together but spread around the world!
