24 x 30cm Mixed media with gold leaf on canvas In this piece, the second of three « Transition: Mist » paintings, I was experimenting with the abstract representation of sunlight playing on the water through the mist. This original composition uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas, giving this artwork a unique, contemporary finish. Framing is not required.
