The IBANEZ Standard AZ22S1F VLS solid body electric guitar carries with it all of the hallmarks of these tried and tested Ibanez qualities : quality tonewoods (Alder body with figured Maple top, bolt-on roasted Maple neck, Jatoba fingerboard) and excellent equipment for optimum versatility (24 stainless steel frets, Ibanez Classic Custom pickups, traditional Ibanez tremolo and locking Gotoh tuners.

The dyna-MIX 9 offers nine sound variations and can switch between humbucker and single coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch. One mode even simulates a humbucking sound from the combination of two single coil pickups.
Fingerboard is made of Brazilian Cherry / Jatoba. It is a tonewood very similar to Pau Ferro. Its warm tone is tempered by a snappy attack. In between Rosewood and Maple.
