« Spring Stroll with Joan » was painted on the first sunny days in April and strong influenced of a recent visit of the exhibition « Joan Mitchell Retrospektive. Her Life and her Paintings. » I was deeply impressed of the use of colour, the textures and the unbelievable expression of Joans works. With this in my mind and spring in the air I painted « Spring Stroll with Joan ». Into existence came a large statement artwork, a vibrant promise of spring! The sides are painted. Professional hooks are already mounted, so you just need two nails to hang the painting. Sealed with a silk glossy varnish. Signed on the front and signed and dated on the back.
