Featuring two 12AX7 tubes, SYNERGY Plexi Preamp Module gives you the quintessential sound of British amps. Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, J Mascis, and Jimmy Page are just a handful of players that have pushed their genre-defining riffs through these dominating walls of guitar amplification. Originally developed to keep up with ever-growing demand for more volume and distortion from the burgeoning hard rock scene of the ’60s, these Plexis have continued to define what rock guitar sounds like.
Dave Friedman-designed Synergy Plexi preamp nails it with an authenticity of sound and feel that you won’t find anywhere else. And it does it at volume levels ranging from performance volume to silent recording.
The two channels of the Plexi module can be dialed in for jumping between a great rhythm and lead tone. While each channel’s I and II controls work much the same way as jumping the inputs on the original amps, allowing you precise control over the shape of your gain.
The Synergy Plexi pre-amp features two channels, each with gain, Input I and Input II knobs. Both channels share a three band EQ.

strong>SYNERGY SYN-1 Single Module Tube Preamp is a roadworthy, professional housing that is compatible with any of Synergy’s interchangeable preamp modules. Want to change your sound ? Simply slide in a different Synergy preamp module and you can access a whole new array of boutique amp tones.
Using the SYN-1 loaded with a Synergy module you can :

– Go direct out (XLR or ¼”) into a recording console, concert venue mixer or powered monitor
– Add two new “boutique” channels to your current amp via the series effects loop of your amplifier

The SYN-1’s direct XLR output boasts a cabinet simulation that is second to none, offering you a studio-grade tone that is as effortless to attain as hooking up an XLR cable. If have your own impulse response , simply bypass the cab sim on the back of the unit.
Synergy worked hand in hand with legendary amp designer, Steven Fryette to outfit the SYN-1 with a front-mounted Sag control, supplying you with the feel and response that only a great tube amp can give.
