Description
Hume’s abstracted, organic shape is symptomatic with a figure, yet stands as a portrait of artist Nicola Tyson. The image has been screenprinted onto silver aluminium leaf which was laid down by hand on each print and sealed with varnish; this means that no two prints are exactly the same due to the differing application of the leaf. The metallic background contributes to the deluxe and glossy feel of the print and alludes to the distinctively long hair of Tyson.
