The timeless J-45 has been the choice of legendary musicians ever since it was first introduced in 1942. Known as The Workhorse, it is Gibson’s most famous and most popular acoustic guitar model.
GIBSON J45 Special (MCRS45SPCAN) Dreadnought acoustic/electric guitar features Gibson’s Concert Body Depth ideal that is for songwriting, rehearsing, cross-town gigging, and home-recording. More comfortable to hold, it has been calibrated to deliver a tighter balance of lows, mids, and highs.
It is of course an all solid wood construction (Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back/sides, Utile neck, Rosewood fretboard), a comfortable neck profile and 20 medium-jumbo frets.
The LR Baggs Element Bronze pickup makes this Workhorse stage-ready too.
