The SADOWSKY MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass, Swamp Ash Body, Maple Fingerboard, 4-String (SML24MS4 46 ASH FR) is perfect for any player looking for a bass with modern looks and that famous Sadowsky tone : never harsh or shrill sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with present, but not too aggressive mids, and a sweet and airy treble range.

This 4-string bass has a chambered Swamp Ash body. The body shape is sleek and undersized with deeper cutaways for better playability and a full two octave note range. The neck is made from American Maple and has an American Maple fretboard with 24 nickel silver frets.

The MetroLine 24-Fret Modern Bass is fitted with two passive Sadowsky Soapbar pickups, both in a modern position, and has active electronics that offer true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, as well as treble and bass boost. Hardware includes Sadowsky light open gear tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release bridge.
