Made in Germany in the Warwick workshops, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass, Red Alder Body, 5-String (SML21VJ5 28 ALD FR) reinterprets to perfection a benchmark American solidbody electric bass.
It’s a top-of-the-range instrument for professional musicians looking for a crossroads between timeless vintage and modern flexibility, with impeccable quality and 100% reliability.
It can be used in a wide variety of musical registers (Blues, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Reggae…) and playing styles (finger, pick or slap).

The luthiery combines an American Alder body, a Maple bolt-on neck and a Morado fingerboard (set with 21 frets). A traditional platform that generates a very homogeneous, dense and responsive acoustic base, with thick, punchy lows, present mids and clear, dynamic highs.
The Morado (Pau Ferro) that forms the fingerboard is a wood from the forests of Brazil and Bolivia. Its high density creates a hybrid sound between rosewood and maple. Its pleasant touch is undeniably reminiscent of Ebony.

The Sadowski Vintage J/J Bass is equipped with Sadowsky Hum-cancelling J-Style passive pickups, producing warm, expressive tones without background noise.
The Sadowski active preamp is both simple and versatile. The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter effectively supports traditional tone controls by attenuating high frequencies to give your tones an authentic vintage temperament (a bit like having a passive bass). The VTC potentiometer is of the push/pull type, allowing the circuit to be deactivated for an even more organic sound.
