Solid body electric bass
While it takes up the fundamentals (asymmetrical design, screwed Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 34″ pitch), it excels above all in terms of price/performance ratio.
The lutherie combines a mahogany body, a screwed maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. A traditional platform in the best sense of the word. It generates a generous, dynamic acoustic base, with warm lows, dense mids and clear highs.
Its Sire Basic J Jazz Bass pickups deliver thick, responsive tones of astonishing quality. The passive circuit features simple volume (one for each pickup) and tone controls.
The SIRE Marcus Miller V1 is a highly accomplished electric bass, each component of which has been rigorously selected. The meticulousness of its manufacture is quite remarkable, with certain features rare on such an affordable instrument (chamfered neck edges).
Add to this undeniable playing comfort (user-friendly neck profile, modern 9.5″ radius) and you have an efficient, reliable model, downright ideal for beginners.
