Solid body electric bass
Designed by the great Marcus Miller himself, the solidbody electric bass MARCUS MILLER P7 New Gen 4-String Left Handed (Tide Pool) is unquestionably one of the best iterations of the Fender© Precision Bass© on the market.
While it retains the fundamentals (alder body, screw-in maple neck, 34″ pitch), it excels in terms of price/performance ratio.
The luthiery combines an American alder body, a screw-down roasted maple neck and a roasted maple fingerboard. A positively traditional, timeless platform. It generates a full, dynamic acoustic base, with dense lows and mids, and clear, limpid highs.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument’s stability, sustain, clarity and resonance, while protecting it from thermal variations, humidity and mildew.
While its lutherie is fundamentally vintage, its pickups and Marcus Miller Heritage-3 circuit make it an exemplary modern model of flexibility. Featuring two pickups in a hybrid Precision/Jazz Bass configuration, an exhaustive panel of controls, and the ability to switch between active and passive modes, the P7 New Gen provides a huge catalog of tones. If you’re looking for an all-terrain bass, we’re close to perfection.
The SIRE Marcus Miller P7 New Gen is a perfectly crafted solid-body electric bass, with every component rigorously selected. Its meticulous craftsmanship is truly remarkable.
Add to this an undeniable comfort of play (very pleasant neck profile, modern 9.5″ radius, chamfered fret edges) and you have the ideal model for the discerning beginner, which could also suit the more experienced musician looking for a high-quality bass to add to his arsenal.
It’s unquestionably on the podium of instruments in the mid-range category.
