Description
In “Late Winter Sun, Clwydians” Alison was moved to paint the striking contrast between sunlight and shadow on the snowy hillside. She says “I was drawn to the intense red of the bracken glowing in the light of the sunrise, intensified by the cooler colours of the sky.”
