Description
This piece depicts the nearly endangered Fennec Fox, due to loss of habitat and being hunted for its fur and taxidermy. Such a beautiful little creature, it has been set against shocking pink to draw attention to its plight, which is furthered by the upward drips into the ether, as though the fox is starting to fade away. One is ‘keeping an eye’ on the other, as a visual metaphor for the fact that humans need to keep an eye on this species so that they don’t disappear for good….
