Everything is powered up
Need phantom power for your condenser microphone? The iRig Pre 2’s 2 AA batteries provide true +48V phantom power (many other mobile microphone preamps only offer 32V, which degrades your mic’s performance) for about 7 hours of continuous use. To use your favourite dynamic or ribbon mic, simply turn off phantom power and you can continue to use your mic for even longer, up to 20 hours!

Don’t lose a single plug
The 3.5mm (1/8″) headphone output saves time, now offers direct monitoring and allows you to listen again, so you can make sure the signal is perfect before you start recording or streaming! It is ideal for all popular video recording and live streaming applications. So you can switch from one application to another with confidence, you’ll always get the best sound quality. And for DSLRs and cameras, it allows you to create a snapshot without having to dive into menus or set up workarounds to control the sound.
