Description
Iceberg is part of a series of abstract images dedicated to the little known American artist, Francis Bruguière who experimented and discovered many photographic techniques long before they became widely accepted. One such idea was to shoot scraps of paper lit with different intensities of light from various angles. By doing so he discovered the resulting geometric shapes and volumes were ambiguous as to what was form and what was shadow. This series pays homage to Bruguière and his technique and continues to explore the illusory qualities of shadow and light.
