Measures 55 x 55 cm (21.7 x 21.7 Inches) and is 2.5cm (1inch) deep Inspired by organic growth and momentum Growth I is part of a series of monochrome paintings in petrol blue, This blue is a particular colour that for me has a certain depth and a sense of unknown spaces, like the deepest parts of the ocean Like a dance, each work in the series is a movement choreographed to express an inner sense of freedom. The techniques used to create this piece is an intuitive dynamic process. The brushstrokes are layered to create a harmony of form. Within the wider context of all my artistic work as a whole the ‘Growth’ series marked a change in approach to oil painting. This piece is painted with high pigment artist oil paint on hand stretched canvas, beware that as it is a unique and handmade item surface details vary but this is part of the beauty of the artwork. All of my work comes with a signed certificate of Authenticity Delivery – The artwork is on stretched unframed canvas and will be send via DHL in a shipping crate or strong cardboard box.
