Description
From the Dancing Sea, is a series of intaglio prints made by the artist in London and Milan through 2016. 1v6, is effectively a monoprint, it is the excess varnish that was applied to the printing plate to protect and seal the printing surface prior to printing, stripped onto paper. The series title was inspired by the inscription on the artist’s Father’s grave, ‘Home is the sailor, home from the sea’. Seafarers are an adaptable folk, creative and practical, and some leave artist offspring ashore. The prints will appear here!
