Fragments of Time II

Painting: Watercolor on Paper. This series of watercolour paintings were made in response to the philosophy of Echart Tolle and the early works of Georgia O’Keefe. These are calming meditative paintings made to reflect upon our awareness of time passing and the fact that life is a shifting changing thing of which we are often not very aware. The images themselves are inspired by the fusion of the man made an the natural world and I chose watercolour as a medium because of it’s subtlety and fluidity. Each piece stands alone as a glimpse of the past and collectively they suggest memory. Fragments of time were exhibited at the Glimpses exhibition in Belgrade in 2016 The colour is Antwerp Blue, and they are painted on Fabriano acid free 300gsm watercolour paper. The painting is unframed and will be shipped rolled in a tube. All works include a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the artist.
