Description
In the middle of an affluent neighborhood in France sits this old abandoned chateau. This Louis XV style châteauwas built in the mid 19th century. It was then bought later that century by a rich owner who wanted to convert it into his summer residence. It was also suggested that it hosted a boarding school for girls It had beautiful flooring, stained glassed windows, intricate details on panels, and Feuillage features it’s beautiful staircase. Unfortunately the chateau is in a severe state of decay. So much so that the first floor came crashing down. Upstairs there was space of just 5 meters where Gina could stand. Rarely see such beautiful decay in a grand chateau like this… Unfortunately, there is no information found about the reason for its abandonment Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325gsm Giclee print, a premium quality paper, which is perfect for Gina Soden’s brightly coloured and textured images.
