40 x 40cm Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas This smaller, softer piece in the Exploration series heads back into the abstract realm. Heavily textured and hinting at sunshine breaking through mists, the reflections captivate the viewer and appear to shimmer slightly as the light changes. This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides are painted black, giving this artwork a highly contemporary finish. Framing is not required.
