Description
70 x 70cm Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas « In this Exploration painting, I wanted to use a similar palette and textural effect but with a slightly more traditional landscape-based composition, as though looking through a window. » This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides are painted black, giving this artwork a highly contemporary finish. Framing is not required.
