Description
This beautiful painting is full of movement, texture and life indicative of the artists unique and highly acclaimed style. The artist uses layering of oil paints applied with a palette knife and incorporates some photographical elements set in the paint and varnished. This piece also uses some very small areas of taxidermy making the piece more valuable and intriguing. Butterflies are key here, with the fluid movement of paint and colour as in all her pieces, a real stand out work by Victoria Horkan.
