Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
The Big Muff is one of the most popular fuzz pedals in the world. The vintage Big Muff pedal has a fascinating sound that has captured the hearts of players. However, one of the problems with vintage guitars is that some of the specifications are not suitable for today’s playing environment.
KardiaN obtained a rare « Ramb’s Head » model from Guild, and analyzed it. From there, they set out to define what a modern « Big Muff » should be. The KARDIAN C6H806 Vitamin C compact effect pedal is equipped with five elements consisting of transistors and FETs, instead of the usual four. This means that even when the gain is turned down, the sparkling highs are not lost, giving you a fuzz sound that you have never experienced before.
In addition, the use of two EQs, which is rare for fuzz pedals, allows for even more flexible sound creation.
The five elements split the gain up so it is less affected by the buffer pedal connected to the first stage, allowing you to choose the layout that best suits your modern board system. 5 elements convey the DNA of « Vintage Big Muff » and the sensitive specifications that modern guitarists demand.
