Overdrive, distortion, fuzz effect pedal for bass
CMC AUDIO Bi Filter Fuzz compact pedal is a fuzz distortion equipped with two filters with the ability to produce sounds in the style of Korg MS20 and Mini Moog !
First filter is pre fuzz, a variable mid boost with a bell shape. It will help shape the overal character of the fuzz, some settings will yield a very nice octave up.
The second filter is a Low-Pass at the end of the signal chain, complete with a resonance control that can scream like your favorite synthesizer.
A 2p/4P toggle lets you choose your favorite flavor of filter. 2 pole is like an MS20, more agressive and raw, while the 4 pole is akin to a Moog, warmer and complex. This filter can be either manually controlled, with expression pedal or even with an on-board envelope control. with the fuzz at minimum you can use this pedal as a slightly dirty envelope filter.
The ENV control sets the the amount of envelope control of the filter. at noon, there is no envelope control, turn it right for a positive envelope (‘WAH’ sound), turn it right for a negative envelope (‘awww’ sound) and the SLOW/FAST toggle sets the speed of the envelope.
Use this filter as tone control for the fuzz (with low resonance values, in 2 pole) or go wild with an envelope controlled screamer filter :).
