100 x 100cm Mixed media using acrylics, watercolours, pastels & gold leaf. The first of a series of three large and distinctive abstract-surrealist landscapes. In this first piece, the abstraction centres primarily on the nature of the reflections. The plane of the water appears to be tilted away from the normal horizontal, giving a sense that there is a liquid flow towards the viewer. This original artwork uses a unique combination of acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides are painted black, giving this artwork a highly contemporary finish. Framing is not required. The artwork is signed on the front and provided with a certificate of authenticity.
