40 x 40cm Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas Heavy texture and lots of watercolour with rain and rivers gushing though the valleys! I wanted to capture some sense of the power that water has in shaping not just our landscapes but also our spirits. This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas. Framing is not required.
