40 x 40cm Mixed media using gold leaf on box canvas The deepening reds of sunset bleeding into the reflections on the water whilst the last rays of sunlight light up the horizon. This atmospheric, original artwork uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 3.5cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The painting continues around the sides of the piece, making this highly contemporary painting seem even larger than it is.
