_It’s Just a Pea – G_ is a [bronze sculpture](/art/sculpture/bronze) by [Laurence Perratzi](/artist/34775/laurence-perratzi), featuring two miniature figures arranged within a geometric stainless steel structure designed to be hung on the wall. A small green pea is hidden within the composition. The artist writes: « It all started with my first sculpture called _It’s Just a Pea_, representing a figure using all her energy and strength to pull… a green pea. Just a pea! Does it ring a bell? It seems like we all, from time to time, worry and use our energy and resources on things that do not matter—on insignificant little details that bring nothing but stress and exhaustion. What a pity. This new collection reflects all the peas we may worry about. Looking at these sculptures every day helps me take a step back and not get stressed over the little things in life. »
