80 x 100cm Mixed media using gold leaf on canvas Capturing the effect of the mists evaporating off the water’s surface. This peaceful painting is part of Magdalena’s « Transition » series exploring the abstract representation of things as they are in the process of changing state. This original composition uses a unique combination of gold leaf, acrylic and watercolour paints and pastels on a 1.6cm deep, gallery wrapped canvas. It is protected from dust and UV light by a thin layer of varnish. The sides are painted black, giving this artwork a highly contemporary finish. Framing is not required.
