Mini guitar amp
FRFR speakers, which stand for « Full Range Flat Response », are specially designed to take advantage of the quality of amp, speaker and effects modeling onboard your guitar and bass processors, such as the brand’s HeadRush Prime, Core or MX5. Unlike a guitar amp, whose amp-preamp section and characteristically loud speaker add undesirable coloration to your models, FRFR speakers deliver a transparent sound that doesn’t distort your models. Powerful and precise, the FRFR108 delivers enough power for jam sessions, rehearsals and concerts.
The FRFR108 MK2 delivers up to 2000W peak, giving you plenty of reserve power for all your performances and rehearsals. Equipped with a specially developed 8″ driver and treble compressor, the FRFRs deliver a rich, accurate response across the entire frequency range, without artificial coloration to get the most out of your modeling system.
The FRFR108 MK2 features two XLR/jack combo inputs for connecting your amp processor or pedalboard, with independent volume controls. To stream music during your rehearsals or breaks from a wireless device with ease, this active baffle is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module with dedicated volume control. To complete this rich interface, an XLR output is also available for chaining several speakers or sending the FRFR signal to a mixing console.
The sound of a room can quickly become busy and muddled when the low frequencies of different instruments mix together. The FRFR108 MK2 features a high-pass filter switch that quickly eliminates these unwanted frequencies, preserving a sound that will blend seamlessly into the final mix. A ground-lift switch also eliminates hum from ground loops on the electrical circuit.
The FRFR108 MK2 combines exemplary robustness with low weight, making it easier than ever to load and transport to the concert hall or rehearsal space. Ideal on the floor in a personal monitor configuration, the FRFR108 MK2’s versatile design allows it to be deployed in a vertical position or on a loudspeaker pole, so you can easily send sound wherever you want. This versatility is particularly useful for open-air concerts, or any venue where the availability of sound equipment is limited.
